Workstations to Include

Sustainable Growing Media - the future, is hosted by Chloe Whiteside & Adrian Thirtle-Watts. Here they will discuss the pros and cons of different raw materials and explaining how various peat-reduced and peat-free growing media mixes are made to suit dift plant types and growing systems.

Vine Weevil Control for your growing media

Sam Rivers will be discussing vine weevil and, with the recent revocation of chemical controls, will explain the integrated tools available to growers to use against this potentially devastating pest.

Osmocote 5 - Reducing peat but not compromising on quality

Andrew Wilson will explain how Osmocote 5 products deliver super-efficient nutrient release and have been painstakingly developed to overcome nutritional challenges faced by growers using sustainable growing media.

Wetting Agent technology and its importance to growing media

Steve Chapman & Alexander Barr will discuss wetting agent technology and its use in various media types through trial work and practical end-user experiences.
