The Baytree remains very popular!
At Laurica Plants in Jabbeke, they have grown these for around 50 Years and during this time, much has changed. This leading European grower of Laurels has invested in propagating Baytrees and plants, always with an awareness for the environment.
Green Energy
Marian Maenhoudt continues “ We recuperate our water in a big water basin of 6 million litres. This water is needed to irrigate all our baytrees from the small kitchen bay through to the biggest tree. The electricity needed for irrigation comes from our own solar panels. So, we use green energy!”
Climate Change
“As the climate is changing, we all need some green around our house or apartment. The Baytree is an ideal solution as an evergreen tree, looking very stylish and graceful in every garden or terrace. We can provide these in all kinds of shapes and sizes”.
Florall Autumn 2022
Laurica Plants will be exhibiting at the forthcoming Florall Autumn Fair on August 23rd, followed by Trade Fair Aalsmeer from November 9-11. Then they will turn their attention to IPM Essen 2023!
