Optimisim Prevalent at GroSouth
GroSouth 2019 was held last week at Newey Roundstone Nurseries. There was a high degree of optimism, reports Clive Marlow.
The show attracted exhibitors from across the UK and mainland Europe. More than 400 visitors enjoyed a day with nursery tours, seminars, innovative products and new varieties to be introduced for the 2020 season.
Many of the growers were eager to update their knowledge on Plant Passports. Among the trade stands there was great interest shown in plant labeling to comply with new legislation which becomes applicable from December 14.
Horticulture requires some degree of clarity as it plans for the future. However, this show clearly demonstrated the resilience and positive attitude of the grower/nursery sectors and the product supply industry.
