Gardening Aids Sleep Patterns

Gardening has been a time-honored tradition for as long as humanity has been on the earth.

It’s a way to grow everything that we need to survive, but also to grow beautiful things that delight the eye. What you might not know is that gardening can do wonders for your sleep patterns.

In the first part of this news report, Ellie Porter outlines some of the ways that it can improve your life by making you happier and healthier.

Plants Clean Your Air

If you keep plants inside your house, you are going to have higher-quality air than someone who does not. Plants take in carbon dioxide from the air around them and turn it into your oxygen, which is what keeps us humans alive.

The cleaner your oxygen is, the better you are going to be able to function. By keeping plants in your bedroom, you are making sure that the air you breathe in while you sleep, is the best it can possibly be.

Make Space for Plants!

You can do this by keeping live plants in your bedroom in whatever ways you can make space for them. Many people find it easier to have a window box or small terrarium, but it's also helpful to hang a plant like an ivy in a basket from your ceiling.
