IPPS Conference Takes Shape

The 2019 annual IPPS (International Plant Propagators Society) European conference is taking shape, with a number of exciting speakers and visits lined up.

The conference, titled ‘Technical Times’, will run from Wednesday 9th to Friday 11th October 2019, in the beautiful, centrally located Stratford upon Avon. This region is renowned for his historical horticultural roots.

Breeding New Plant Varieties

Speakers throughout the three-day conference will cover a range of topics from the breeding of new plant varieties to technical developments, from real time remote crop monitoring to plant health.

Nursery Visits

An excellent itinerary of nursery visits has already been finalised with visits to Hawkesmill, Ball Colegrave Bordon Hill Site, Newey Avoncross and New Leaf. Delegates will be able to see excellent horticultural practices and new technology in action.

Booking Options

The conference is open to both members and non-members, from across the sectors, and students are most welcome to attend.  Booking forms are now available on http://eur.ipps.org and various social media channels.

Closing Date for Conference

The closing dates for bookings are : Full delegate applications - Friday 30th August, Day delegate applications – Friday 13th September.
