Plantipp to Show Latest Introductions

At Plantarium next week, Plantipp will showcase their latest plant introductions.

These will include Buddleja High Five Purple (‘podcept1’PBR) which is a wonderful addition for several reasons. Firstly, it is a dense plant, covered in plump flower spikes bursting with double, purple flowers.

Spring-Like Through Fall

The long panicles of flowers appear spring-like through fall and will also attract butterflies and beneficial insects. High Five Purple was found by Peter Podaras from the US.

Striking Clematis

Clematis ‘Kokonoe’PBR that is a striking Clematis with a special flower shape in a warm purple colour. ‘Kokonoe’ gives plenty of flowers on one plant and blooms from late spring to early autumn.

This climbing plant grows to around 2.50m high and 1m wide and is beautiful as a solitary terrace or balcony plant.

Elegant Perennial

Delphinium elatum Cinderella (‘DD2011’PBR), an elegant perennial with flowers that are particularly suitable as cut flowers as well as for in a pot on patio or balcony.

This Delphinium blooms in summer. The flowers are completely filled and have a soft pink colour with green tips at the edge and in the heart.

Cinderella becomes about 1.20 m high and 60 cm wide and was found by Dowdeswell’s Delphiniums from New Zealand.

Plantipp BV will show these plants, and more, at Plantarium from August 21-23 on stand 115.
