Thuja occidentalis 'Mirjam' (pbr) is February Special

Van Vliet New Plants have chosen Thuja occidentalis 'Mirjam' is its February Special. This plant provides a striking yellow foliage for the garden in summer.

In winter 'Mirjam' turns to orange and bronze-green. 'Mirjam' is a beautiful sphere of about 2 ft (60 cm) and is fully hardy.

New to Assortment

Additional in their assortment of Thuja occidentalis, New Plants have introduced ‘King of Brabant’ Thuja occidentalis 'King of Brabant' distinguishes itself from all other Brabant  forms by his strong upright growth. 

This new Thuja is virtually disease free and therefore it has no problems with pests and diseases which could result in a deterioration in the product. 'King of Brabant' is very hardy and has already endured several periods of 25° frost.

Thuja occidentalis 'Miss Frosty'

Also new is Thuja occidentalis 'Miss Frosty' which is a compact growing conifer selected as a sport from 'Smaragd'. Due to its compact ball-shaped growth it can be used in many ways in the garden. Its white young shoots have a striking effect which distinguishes 'Miss Frosty' from other cultivars.
