Practical Showcase of Latest Science
Hort Science Live 2018 will be held twice during October 2018.
This highly practical event showcasing the latest scientific developments in ornamental horticulture, is to be held at Palmstead Nursery in Kent (4th October) and at Stockbridge Technology Centre in Yorkshire (17th October).
Growers & Agronomists
Organised by ICL and Bayer, and run in association with the Horticultural Trades Association (HTA), Hort Science Live (HSL) provides opportunities for growers and agronomists to interact with leading specialists in growing media, plant nutrition and plant protection.
“Focussing very much on practical applications, we show growers how to apply the latest techniques and technologies to benefit their own production,” says Adam Ferjani, ICL marketing communications manager. “Launched in 2017, the first event was over-subscribed hence we are staging two HSL events this year.”
Growing Media Trials
At Hort Science (South) Production Manager Martin Brijs will report back on in-house growing media trials exploring the economics of using peat-free compared to peat-based growing media.
Tickets for Hort Science Live 2018 cost £20, which will be donated to the Horticultural Charity Perennial. Ticket availability is limited.
